Depot Manager

Generally Monday - Friday, 8am - 6pm; Weekends as needed Position Overview: Supervise daily operations and all daily operational activities of the Nashville Depot. Important Job Functions * Administrative functions as required (Internal and external operating systems updates) * Responsible for the Daily operation and performance of all activities within the Depot * Responsible for recruiting and training employees * Responsible for auditing work accordingly * Responsible for inbound and outbound gate interchange operations * Daily review and management of out of service equipment * Responsible for maintaining accurate & timely inventory records * Responsible for customer and vendor communications * Focused on reducing driver throughput per EIR transaction * Working with safety team to insure all team members and outside carriers operate within safety guidelines * Insuring depot equipment (Lifts, Hostlers, ect) are maintained within company guidelines * Insuring depot is proactively prepared and secure from any theft Other Job Functions * Provide feedback to staff * Provide daily reporting feedback to Management to include Trucking Operations Requirements * Industry knowledge Other Skills/Abilities * Good Microsoft Office and computer skills * Excellent written and verbal communication
