Immediate opening for a Dedicated Solo Class A CDL Truck Driver and we want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in Winchester VA

Drivers earn $1400 per week with guaranteed pay.

• Ryder Drivers are Paid Weekly




• Daily Guarantee: $240.00 per Day




• Solo Miles Pay: $00.58 per Mile




• Solo Stops Pay: $25.00 per Stop




• Per Diem Pay: $37.13 per night with 1 - 2 nights per Week




• Overnights for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel or in Sleeper Truck




• Safety Bonus: Pays You $300 Four Times A Year, Every Quarter




• Sign On Bonus: Pays you $3000 at 30 days and $3000 at 90 days




• Paid Training




• Schedule: Monday – Friday




• Start Time: 2AM -7AM

Ryder Drivers Service the Route, not the Truck. All Drivers have 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician plus Service Employees fuel up our trucks at all 800+ Maintenance Facilities.

• Deliver SOLO To: Mid Atlantic Region and New England Region and Some Midwestern states




• Route: Mainly Home Daily




• Tractor Type: Day Cab and Sleeper




• Can Accommodate an Automatic Restriction!




• Trailer Type: Dry Van and Flatbed - No Tarping




• Ryder will Train you on Flatbed to be successful




• Freight: Touch – Commercial Foam

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age




• Pass a Ryder Drug Test




• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years




• Pass a DOT physical




• Pass a Ryder road test




• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position




• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:




• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR




• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR




• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years




• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions




• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Important Note: Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines




• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs




• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer




• Performs other duties as assigned
