I never renewed my prime account. Amazon is as slow as everyone else, now. My wife still orders from them. I pull up in my driveway and see and found two packages in the middle of my driveway. They were stacked next to the passenger side rear wheel of my wife’s car. I live on on a main road. Everyone coming from a certain direction could see those packages. I look at both packages. One is for us the other is for the neighbor. I go to bring the neighbor his package and find another one in our yard, on the property line. My camera didn’t catch it, because you put it in my driveway. But, I’m sure one of my neighbor’s did.

Not a good experience

When I started this job around 2018 it was a great experience. Management was amazing to the point where there was nothing o improve other than the air conditioning being very poor within the warehouse. I am being the voice for many of those who are afraid to speak up! When COVID-19 began things became very difficult. This warehouse did a horrible job with incorporating COVID safety precautions. The facility is way too small to maintain a six foot distance. Especially, the pick and stage shift that had to suffer the most. There were about 3-4 employees picking in the same lane that is only big enough for 1-2 people. If we did not maintain six feet we were written up but it was IMPOSSIBLE. Everyday managers complained about getting caught by the cameras. They even told us what cameras did not work when they had to break the six foot distance to train new hires. Then, when routes are running behind a six foot distance did not matter to them because they cared MOSTLY about their rates so we were all crammed in together. Unfortunately, the pick and stage shift has NOT taken a break since the beginning of peak 2020. The FIRST break that was actually ANNOUNCED was taken on 4/14/21( They are aware we had enough and if they didn’t give us one we were going to choose when we were going to take it ourselves). The manager that currently runs the Sun-Thur shift is AWARE and has NOT done anything about it. In fact, Merrill is a manager who is aware of this situation and does not care. She does not help call break but rather sit at the temperature check and eat a banana while on the floor as she sips out of her cup. Their reasoning for not calling a break was to not get behind on routes but also routes being late for van drivers in order to maintain their NUMBERS. When there is about 15 min left at the end of the shift ( once again no break announced) managers and shifts assistants rather beg you to pick another route instead of asking if we took a break. There is even a shift assistant who said to notify him when we have to use the restroom before leaving the floor. It has gotten to a point where many employees are fed up and have had enough. The amount of managers, shift assistants, and workers, who transferred from this site or quit goes to show how horrible things are here. NOTHING has been done to change these conditions nor is there anyone to go to. Managers ONLY act how they should when regional people come to visit and inspect this site. That is when managers come in early to clean random stuff thrown on racks piled up in corners. They also have random and out dated news thrown all over the walls and racks. They have even created posters and signs that we have NEVER seen before to make themselves look like they have been doing their jobs when they visit. Then they have the audacity to act nice towards employees and portray like this site is doing what they are suppose to do. Now that this site has changed into a megacycle I feel like they should have also told employees of this change when “ The Offer” was available. This could have helped those who knew they wouldn’t be able to work these new shifts and were left without a job.
